Mobile gas storage for biogas and hydrogen

Supply the daughter stations with gas using our mobile gas storage units.

Application Area

Mobile gas storage for biogas and hydrogen – from production to end-users

Processkontroll Green Technology has developed an innovative and groundbreaking transportation system to cater to the green energy gas needs of satellite stations. By utilizing the existing standardized hook-lift system, already in use for a wide range of transportation purposes, we can offer a quick and smooth docking solution for our mobile gas storage units for biogas and hydrogen.

These mobile gas storage units are strategically placed next to the filling station and easily connected via a hose located in a designated space on the unit’s end. The hose is securely stored and locked during transport, ensuring hassle-free handling.

In addition to being used at satellite stations, our mobile gas trailers can also supply our decompression facilities with fossil-free energy when needed. By controlling the decompression, the pressure is regulated down during automated heating to the desired usage pressure. This process ensures efficient and safe conversion of the gas to a suitable pressure for use in various applications.

We offer two different types of gas storage tanks: a traditional steel cylinder variant that holds 2 tons of biogas, and another made from composite materials that can hold 3.6 tons of gas. Composite materials reduce the weight and nearly double the capacity for the transported volume of methane gas, resulting in efficient handling and optimized costs.

Our mobile gas trailers for biogas and hydrogen are fully approved according to the applicable standards for the transportation of dangerous goods – ADR-S.

During spring 2023, we reached a milestone with 300 gas storage units. Here you can see a humorous short film about how these 300 biogas warriors fight for a fossil-free world.
