German ADAC has tested 112 car models in its Ecotest 2021 and where two gas models and one electric car ended up on the podium. For those of us who work with green energy gases, it comes as no surprise that biogas cars are at least as climate-friendly as electric cars. The most exciting result in the test is the Seat Leon in the biogas version wins the compilation in CO2 and other emissions even with a German vehicle gas mix where only 40% consists of biogas. Here in Sweden we are already at over 95% biogas. If this had also been taken into account and combined with a low purchase price and no range anxiety, the biogas car would have won a landslide victory.
