Heat exchangers for high-pressure gases

Our proprietary heat exchanger is used in our plants to cool gas after compression or heat gas prior to decompression. The design is adapted for high pressures and demanding environments, making it ideal as an integrated component in our compressor skids and decompression units.
The heat exchanger is approved for biogas up to 330 bar and is also available in a hydrogen version up to 500 bar.
The heat exchanger can also be delivered as a stand-alone unit for other gas-related applications and can then be adapted in size and number of segments according to the heat exchange requirement.

Construction & Specifications

  • Designed for gas pressures up to 500 bar

  • Modular and customizable in size and can be designed with several different gas stages as needed

  • Manufactured according to pressure vessel standard EN13445 and type approved according to PED

  • Robust stainless steel, aluminum and brass construction with free-floating pipe system

Europe's largest filling station for liquid (LBG) and compressed (CBG) biogas has now been inaugurated in Kallhäll, Järfälla municipality. Processkontroll GT AB has built this modern station, which is an important step in Sweden's work with sustainable transport.

New flatbed filling plant to Fredrikstad, Norway

Just before Christmas, we had the pleasure of installing and commissioning a new gas flare filling plant in Fredrikstad, Norway. Using a high-performance Pignone compressor, the plant can fill up to 6 mobile gas cylinders with biogas simultaneously.
