With our Subsidiary Stations, you can refuel vehicle gas wherever you are, as these stations are not directly connected to a gas pipeline. Instead, the daughter station is supplied with biogas from one or more mobile gas storage facilities. These mobile gas cylinders are filled with biogas at a mother station and then transported to the daughter station.
Subsidiary stations are a popular and flexible solution as there are no real restrictions on where a station can be located. All that is required in addition to the filling station itself is space for one or more mobile gas storage facilities nearby.
Sub-stations can be located anywhere, making it possible to offer biogas refueling in places where there is no direct connection to gas pipelines.

This subsidiary station in Tingsryd is one of a dozen gas filling stations that our customer Småländska Bränslen has purchased from us. By using this solution, biogas plants can efficiently distribute biogas to areas where there is no direct access to gas pipelines. The combination of daughter stations, mobile gas storage and mother stations allows companies like Småländska Bränslen to offer climate-smart and flexible energy solutions to customers in a wide range of locations.

Gasum CBG subsidiary station in Hämeenlinna for cars and buses
Adjacent to Gottebol's biogas plant, we have built a combined mother and filling station to supply both refuse collection vehicles and private cars with locally produced biogas. The plant helps Karlskoga residents to refuel their gas vehicles with environmentally friendly biogas, while supporting a more sustainable and circular economy.
In addition to serving as a refueling station for vehicles, the facility is also designed to fill up to ten mobile gas storages simultaneously with biogas. This allows the biogas to be efficiently distributed to other locations, further strengthening the region's ability to use locally produced biogas.

Uppsala Vatten is taking further steps to support environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation by expanding the possibilities to refuel with locally produced, climate-friendly biogas at the CBG subsidiary station Librobäck. Flens municipality opens its first biogas filling station
We at Processkontroll Green Technology are pleased to have received the repeated confidence from Sörmlands Vatten och Avlopp to, after the station in Katrineholm, also deliver this subsidiary station with a public dispenser and two mobile gas storage facilities. This enables refueling of fossil-free and locally produced biogas in Flens municipality.
The decision to invest in a biogas filling station was already taken in 2018. With the help of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's Klimatklivet grant, Flens municipality continued to work with Sörmland Vatten to make the filling station a reality. By offering refueling opportunities for biogas produced in the local area, this makes it easier for both the municipality and local actors to choose more environmentally friendly transport alternatives and thus contribute to a more sustainable future.
