Yesterday, our customer Gasum inaugurated Europe's largest filling station for liquid (LBG) and compressed (CBG) biogas, located in Kallhäll, Järfälla municipality. Processkontroll GT AB has been responsible for the construction of this modern station, which marks a significant milestone in the work on sustainable transport in Sweden.
Our CEO, Bo Axelsson, attended the opening and shared the sense of pride together with representatives from Arla, Järfälla Municipality, Scania and Volvo, among others. The new filling station is strategically located at Sweden's largest dairy and enables the transition to fossil-free transport today.
One of the new features of the station is an innovative boil-off solution that reduces the consumption of liquid nitrogen (LIN), further strengthening the station's sustainability profile.
Passenger cars can also be refueled at the station, something that our CEO Bosse Axelsson himself took the opportunity to do during the opening. Although the station will mainly supply trucks with biogas, it is important to emphasize that vehicle gas is a sustainable and accessible alternative for all types of vehicles.
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Gasum for their trust and to all our employees and partners who have contributed to this important project. It is through collaboration and shared commitment that we can together drive the green transition forward.
