We are pleased to announce that our latest LCBG station for liquid and compressed biogas is now operational in Kristinehamn. The station was prefabricated in our Stora Höga facility and assembled on site in Kristinehamn, where it now contributes to a stronger infrastructure for sustainable energy gases.
One of the most fascinating parts of the work was the cooling of the cryogenic tank. Using liquid nitrogen at -190 degrees, the tank is gradually cooled down, creating an impressive and powerful cloud - a visual spectacle that is completely harmless.
This is Gasum's 26th liquid biogas filling station, and we are proud to contribute to their efforts to develop a sustainable energy infrastructure. Biogas is an optimal solution for fossil-free transportation with heavy trucks and plays a key role in the transition towards greener transport.
