Last month we delivered another biogas filling station to Finland. This station in Järvenpää, 4 miles north of Helsinki, is an "E2 station", i.e. a gas filling station with double compressors that is not piped but is fed via our gas cylinders, which in turn are filled at the nearby biogas plant and distributed to the respective filling station.
"The challenges of the project have mainly been to implement the project in the middle of the pandemic. Initially during the production phase when it is important to get all components delivered to our production hall in Stora Höga. Then it was also a challenge to deliver and commission according to schedule with new recommendations and rules coming from the authorities at short notice, but we managed to solve the challenges in good cooperation with the customer." says our project manager Mats Carlsson.
We congratulate Gasum on another step to make Finnish traffic fossil-free with biogas and wish good luck with the plant for many years to come!
